① I ordered it online.
英語は「配置の言葉」
文中の位置が表現に働きを与える。
この文で、online は「ネットで」 と場所を表す副詞だが、この機能はこの表現の位置 – ordered it の後ろ、によって与えられている。
「説明ルール: 説明は後ろに置く」により「私はそれを注文した」の説明となっているため。
別の場所に置け ば online meeting（ネット会議）、online shopping（ネットでのショッピング）など、形容詞にもなる。
② I have the tools to do it.
to不定詞の形容詞的用法
to不定詞はさまざまな働きがあるが、この文の to 不定詞 “to do it” は the tools の説明、つまり「それをするための道具」となっている。
もちろんこの働きもこの to 不定詞が置かれた位置、 the tools の後ろによって与えられている。英語は「配置の言葉」なのである。

※ excited は excite の過去分詞形。excited のように、感情を表す動詞の過去分詞は「誰かの感情」を表すときに使われます！exciting と動詞-ing形ではないので注意！
**look like ~: ～のように見える
**put together:（ばらばらな部品を）組み立てる
But it looks like you have to put it together yourself.
でも、自分で組み立てなければならないようだね。
※ look like~ の後ろにはフルセンテンスを置くことができます！
**be bad at ~: ～が苦手
I’m really bad at this.
私はこういうことがとても苦手です。

「help + 〈人〉 + 動詞原形」 は 「〈人〉 が～するのを助ける」
help の目的語説明型（SVOC）では動詞原形が使われます。後半の文で、make が授与型（SVOO）で使われ、「作ってあげる」となっていることにも注意！
