see（見える）を使った「どんな将来が見えますか？」という聞き方。

Whose success could you model [pattern] yourself after?
Who is someone that does what you want to do?
→ 模範・手本となる人を尋ねるのも、将来の展望を知るいいアイデア。
model oneself after ~: ～を手本・模範とする
※after は「ついていく」ニュアンス
★Practice
D: Okay everyone. It’s time for the practice. Now for these, we have some very frequently used questions – “What do you want to be?”
The question is “Should I say this clearly?” or “Can I blend and shorten the sounds?” The key to this answer is “Who is speaking?”
This is a guidance counselor. So they’re not going to use the casual, fast blending sound.
So when we practice today, instead of “What doyou wanna be?” let’s practice a nice, formal pronunciation – “What do you want to be?”
