・under the supervision of ~ は「～の指導・監督の下」で、underの基本的な使い方と of のコンビネーション
・the supervision を a famous but strict professorで説明している
・famous but strict (有名だけれど厳しい) は、まとまった形容詞フレーズ
B: それは何年も前のことだったけど、いまだに締め切りを守るために苦闘する悪夢を見ます。
That was years ago, but I still have nightmares about struggling to meet the deadline.
**struggle: 苦闘する
**nightmare: 悪夢
・struggleは「苦闘する・もがく」
・meet the deadline は「締め切りに間に合う」。the deadline と「きちんと出合う」と、通常の meet と同じイメージ

**itinerary: 旅行計画、旅程
・前置詞 like (Lesson 56) を使った smell like ~ は「～のようなにおいがする」で、文全体は説明型オーバーラッピング（SVC）の形
・not too spicy は too spicy を not が打ち消し「それほど辛くない」
・while ~ は「～している間」で、2つの出来事の同時進行を示す
