① It’s one of the most exciting movies I’ve ever seen.
私がこれまで見た最もわくわくする映画のひとつです。
最上級の「範囲」
最上級は「最も～」を表すが、どの範囲の中で「最も」なのかを示す説明フレーズが頻繁に加えられる
ここでは関係代名詞節 I’ve ever seen がそれ。「私がこれまで見た最もわくわくする映画」と範囲を設定している
ちなみに ever = at any time（いつの時点をとっても）で、オールタイムベストだと述べている
② That’s hard to believe ( ).
それは信じるのが難しい。
難易を表す形容詞がとる形
hard, easy など難易を表す形容詞が特徴的にとる形の文。believe の後ろに空所 ( ) を意識してすること
この空所と主語 that が呼応している
つまり believe that（それを信じる）という意味関係になっており、「それは（それを）信じるのが難しい」ということ
