I appreciate the gesture, but let’s split it.
**split (the bill): 割り勘にする
appreciate は、相手のしてくれたこと・申し出などに対する、Thank you. よりも深い感謝を表す
・gesture は思っていることを行為や言葉で示すこと。ここでは「親切な申し出」
②僕のクレジットカードを使ってもいい？今、全然現金を持っていないんだ。勘定の半分を現金でちょうだい、いい？
Can I use my credit card? I don’t have any cash at the moment. Give me half the bill in cash, OK?
