① Sounds interesting.

説明型オーバーラッピング(SVC)
主語を補えば That sounds interesting. となる

この文は説明型オーバーラッピング(SVC)の形で、基本は be動詞文と同じように主語の説明「that = interesting」ということ

だが、この文では意味の薄い be動詞ではなく、実質的な意味を持つ sound(聞こえる)が使われているため、その意味が文全体にオーバーラップして「that = interesting [に聞こえる]」となる

といった、知覚系動詞に頻繁に使われる形

it ~ that …
it は「受ける」単語。この形では、心に状況を思い浮かべ、それを it で受け、文を始める。

この文では「私のゴールなんですよ」で文を始めている。これだけでは何がゴールなのかがわからないため、that以下で説明している。

目標について話すための表現

① My goal is to eliminate poverty.

→ be動詞の後に to不定詞を用いた形。to のイメージは「指し示す」なので、それが「これから」のニュアンスにつながり「目標・希望」とマッチする

aim は「標的を狙う」イメージ

I would like to become an astronaut.

→「目標・希望」は will(~するよ)、be going to(~するつもり)、want to(~したい)、would like to(~したい)など、簡単な語句を使っても表すことができる

→ endgame はゲームの最終局面。そこから「目標」のニュアンスが生まれる
