→ アドバイスは相手に対する「提案」。配慮の行き届いた控えめな提案の言い回しはアドバイスにも使える。

Why don’t you ~? のアドバイス表現に、相手にプレッシャーをかけないための前置きを加えている。こちらも「提案」と同じ。
③ The best thing is to speak to her directly.
Your best bet is to speak to her directly.
→ 最善の方策をアドバイスする表現。be動詞の後の説明語句にto不定詞を使い、「これから」感が生まれている。
bet は「賭け」
best bet は「最も可能性が高いもの」につながる

→ advise（アドバイスする）を使ってもアドバイス可能。
I’d = I would advise は、控えめな過去の助動詞 would を使い、押しつけがましさを避ける言い回しで、「（私が意見を申し上げるとすれば）～でしょうね」というイメージ。
