Say it in English

Boyfriend: Romantic night, isn’t it?

You:
Thank you for always putting me before work.

・before(~の前)は順序関係を表す前置詞。

It’s difficult to put my feelings into words, so I’ll sing you a love song instead.

・put my feelings into words = 感情を言葉にする

sing (V) + you (O) + a love song (O)

Telephone operator at Helen’s office: I’m sorry, but she’s away from her desk.

You:
May I leave a message for Helen. then?

・May I ~?

I’m afraid I’m going to be late for the meeting because I left my bag in the train, and I have to contact the Lost-and Found.

・left ~ in the train「電車に~を忘れた」

**the Lost-and Found: 遺失物係

Ending

O: Hey, Roza. What do you think of a guy who’s always putting you before work?

R: I think that’s fantastic!

C: I think it’s unrealistic.

See you next week!
