be given a heads-up(事前に耳に入る、事前に知らされる)を使ったフレーズ。

Heads up! は「注意して!気をつけて!」で、ここから来た heads-upは「事前の告知・警告」となる。

give a heads-up で、これから起こり得ることについて前もって言っておく、知っておいた方がいい情報を知らせる、となる。

※発音に注意!「ケオティック」のように発音します。chaotic は形容詞です。名詞はchaos で日本語で「カオス・混乱」です。発音は「ケイオス」です
