・An idea が hit me したという形、つまり「ひらめいた」ということ💡I had an idea などを使っても大丈夫
・It’s called ~ は「～と呼ばれている・〜という名前である」の頻用表現
2⃣ あなたの部下が、職場にふさわしくない格好で出勤してきました。注意をしましょう。
Staff member: Hi, boss. What’s up?

①やぁ、おはよう。気を悪くしないでほしいのですが、残念ながらその服装は職場にはふさわしくないと思います。
Hi, good morning. No offense, but I’m afraid your outfit isn’t appropriate for the workplace.
**outfit: 複勝
**workplace: 職場
**appropriate: ふさわしい、適切な
・No offense, but ~ といった表現がすぐに思いつけばすばらしい (Lesson 39) ここではさらに I’m afraid を用いて相手を刺激するのを避けている
② あなたがプロとして認められたいのであれば、プロらしい身なりをする必要があります。
If you want to be recognized as a pro, you need to dress like one.
**recognize: ～を認める
・be recognized as ~ は「～として見なされる」
・one は a pro の繰り返しを避けるための代用表現
