☆SAY IT IN ENGLISH

Boyfriend: Finally. We’ve been waiting forever. What took you so long?

You:

Hey, there’s no need to be rude. The server already apologized for the delay, and the restaurant is busy tonight.

・there’s no need to be rude.

Being polite won’t cost you anything, and it’ll make the situation better.

Wife: Welcome home.

You:

Have you been drinking again? You’re always drinking when I get home.

If something’s bothering you, talk to me. You don’t have to handle everything alone. Maybe I can help, or at least listen.

If something’s bothering you

★Ending

O: Hey guys. Being polite is very important, isn’t it?

D: I agree, yeah.

O: I always thank the cashier at a convenience store.

D: Oh, yeah. Me too. I used to work as a cashier so I understand that position very well. I always say “thank you” when I can (say “thank you”) to anyone who does a service.

O: Good. How about you, Roza?

R: Yeah, absolutely. It’s really important to say “please” and “thank you” when you’re asking for any type of service. If there’s one thing I can say, it’s that your manners are really good, sensei.
