①as ~ as の後ろは目的格

as ~ as の後ろ、比較対象には目的格が使われる
目的格は「指し示す」形 – 「私」を指して me と言っている
me とせずに as tall as I am としっかりした形も使われる、「私がそうであるのと同じくらい」ということ。am の後ろに tall が感じられている
②not as ~ as … に注意

not as as … は「=ではない」と言っているわけではない
not as as … は「…ほどではない」、つまり程度が低いことを表している
