☆Grammar and Vocabulary
感情を表す動詞から派生した形容詞
I hope you’re not disappointed.
disappointed は、動詞 disappoint (がっかりさせる) の過去分詞から派生した形容詞
過去分詞は「～される」なので「がっかりさせられる→がっかりする」と人の感情を表す形容詞となる
同じ派生形容詞でも disappointing は「がっかりさせるような」と、感情を起こさせる事物を形容する
説明ルール

英語の修飾語順は日本語と大きく異なる
ここでは「説明ルール: 説明は後ろに置く」が働き「your offer」の説明を「to go into ~」が行っている

① let me + 「小さな単語」

まずは「小さな単語」を使って let に慣れておく
let me in は「me = in を let (許せ)」
Let me out.

② Let me know. / Let you know.

Let me know ~ は Tell me よりも やわらかいタッチの「教えて」
me が know するのを許して → 私を知っている仲間に入れてください
というニュアンス
