・a cute little ~（かわいい小さな～）はよく使われるコンビネーション
・I bought her one では poppy の繰り返しを避けるために、poppy を one で置き換えている。授与型（SVOO）の文
②だけど実は、彼女が欲しかったのはパピーだったんだよ！大失敗だったよね。
But actually what she wanted was a puppy! Big mistake, wasn’t it?
・what she wanted は wh節。「彼女が何を欲しがっていた（のか）」と「彼女が欲しかったもの」の両用の形
