**hardly ever ~: ほとんど～しない、めったに～しない
・2文目の What ~ for? は「何のために～？」と、目的を尋ねることができるフレーズ
・hardly ever は頻度副詞。フレーズとしてまとめて覚えておく！
B: 高そうだね。誰かへのプレゼント？パーティーに持っていくの？
It looks expensive. Is it a present for someone? Are you taking it to a party?
・a present for someone は誰かに「向けた」プレゼント。for の基本的な使い方
・take ~ to… は「～を･･･に連れていく・持っていく」
2⃣ 妻との結婚記念日のディナーをしストランで楽しんでいるあなた。テーブルの上のワインが、あなたがオンラインで買ったものだと気がついた彼女に応答してください。
Wife: Oh, you brought that wine!

・am so relieved は「ホッとした気持ち」を表す。その後ろに置いた節がそのホッとした「原因」を説明している
