In Japanese it’s called tamago kake gohan. – What does that mean?

It basically translates to “egg on rice.” It’s steamy rice with a raw egg on top.

**raw: 生の
It basically translates to “egg on rice.” It’s steamy rice with a raw egg on top.
だいたい「egg on rice (ごはんの上の卵)」と訳せます。湯気が出るほどのごはんの上に、生卵をかけたものです。
※It basically translate の translate は普通は「～を翻訳する」と他動詞で使われるが、「翻訳できる」という自動詞でも使われます！
