この文は、動詞の後ろに目的語を2つとる授与型 (SVOO)、「～に…をあげる・くれる」と授与を表す形
この文も「私に・もうひとつのものを・見せてくれる」となっている
英語は「配置の言葉」 – 配置が意味を持つ言葉
授与型 (SVOO) の配列で使われれば、典型的に授与型を使う give だけでなく、すべての動詞は「授与」として解釈されることに注意

a [an] は「ほかにもあるうちのひとつ」、いくつか候補がある中のひとつ、つまり、another は「もうひとつ」ということ

the other は「2つのもののうちのもう一方」
全体が2つであれば「ほか」は「ひとつに決まる」ため、the が使われる

「the + 複数形」は、ひとつに決まるようなグループ全体のこと

全体が5つなら、見せてもらっているもの以外の4つすべて、ということ
