・文頭の seriously は「真面目に言うと」で、以降の内容を「真面目な内容」であると指定するため文頭に置かれている。つまり「指定ルール: 指定は前に置く」の位置
・I’m sure ~ の文は、am sure の内容を後続の節が説明する「リポート文」の形
2⃣ 上司に間違って彼女との写真を送ってしまったあなた。あいさつをしてきた同僚に説明してください。

I really messed up! I sent a photo with my girlfriend to my boss by mistake!
・by mistake は「間違って」。by は「方法」を表す前置詞なので「mistakeという方法で=間違って」ということ
②彼はいい人だから、問題はないはず。でも恥ずかしいことだよ！
He’s a good guy, so there should be no problem. But it’s embarrassing!
・should は「〜であるはず」。There is no problem.（問題はありません）に should のニュアンスをつけ加える
・embarrassing は 「恥ずかしい」。感情を表す動詞（embarrass）の動詞-ing形なので「物事」について述べる形容詞となる。embarrassed と過去分詞なら「恥ずかしい」と人の気持ちを述べる形容詞となる
