What a surprise!
感嘆文
感嘆文は「What + 名詞 + 主語 + 動詞！」or「How + 形容詞/副詞 + 主語 + 動詞！」の形をとる。目立たせたい表現を、wh語（what, how などは「疑問詞」と呼ばれることもあり）を加えて、目立つ文頭に置くことがポイント！
この文では a surprise（名詞）が感嘆のポイントであるため、what を加え文頭に置いている。「主語+動詞」はしばしば省略されます。

a [an] のイメージ
a [an] や the, some などの限定詞は非常に繊細な意味を運ぶ
この文の You are a ~ は、職業や立場を述べる典型的な表現だが、この a は「ほかにもある中のひとつ」ということ。つまり、a teacher は「ほかにもいる先生たちの中のひとり」となり、それが職業を述べることにつながっている
