-thing/-one/-bodyで終わる名詞

この文では something を修飾する important to tell you が後ろに置かれている
ここには英語の修飾をつかさどる二大語順則のひとつ「説明ルール: 説明は後ろに置く」が働いている！
-thing/-one/-body で終わる名詞は、something（何か）、anything（何でも）など意味がたいへん漠然としているため、 説明が必要となる。
そこで説明のために後ろに修飾語が置かれている。
現在完了形のイメージ

現在完了形の文。現在完了形（have + 過去分詞）のイメージは「（今に）迫ってくる」
この文では、過去から現在に向けてずっと司会者だったことが示され、現在完了形のイメージどおりの使い方となっている。
