Hey, can you see that guy in the red polo shirt? He keeps looking at me during class.
・in は洋服などを身につけているときに使える
・keep + 動詞-ing形は「～し続ける」
・during は「～の間に」。前置詞なので後ろは名詞・動名詞が来る
**polo shirt: ポロシャツ
②彼は私のことが好きに違いないわ。どう思う？
He must be in love with me. What do you think?
・must は「～にちがいない」で、強い確信を持っていることを表す
・in love with ~ は「～に恋をして」で、in はラブラブ気分の「中」にいることを示している
・What do you think？「どう思う？」はそのまま覚えておく！
2⃣ ミーティングでプレゼンテーションを行う予定のあなた。電車の遅延で開始時間に遅れそう。でもタクシーを使って、なんとか自分のプレゼンの時間には間に合いそうです。その旨を、心配して電話をかけてきた同僚に伝えてください。

Sorry, but I’ll be late due to a train delay.
・I’ll be late は「遅刻する」で will は未来を見通している感触
・due to は原因を表すカッチリとした表現「～のために」
**train delay: 電車の遅延
②タクシーを使うことにしますよ。私のプレゼンテーションには間に合うと思います。
I’ll take a taxi. I think I can make it in time for my presentation.
・take a taxi は「タクシーに乗る」
・make it は「成功する」が感じられるため、make it in time for ~ で「～に間に合う」
