① I’m surprised.
感情を表す動詞から派生した形容詞
surprised は 「驚いた・びっくりした」で、動詞 surprise の過去分詞から派生した形容詞。
surprised が 「びっくりした」と、人の感情を表すのは、surprise が 「びっくりさせる」という意味の動詞であるため。その過去分詞は受動の意味となり「びっくりさせられる」、そこから「びっくりした」と人の感情を表す。
感情を表す動詞の多くはこのパターン。過去分詞で「人の感情」を表すことを覚えておく。
② I’m your tutor, right?
ちょこっと疑問
文末の「, right?」は、通常の文を疑問文にするとても便利な表現。疑問文は疑問形を伴うものばかりではない。文末にちょこっと表現をつけ加えるだけで疑問文にすることは、非常に頻繁にある。

→「あなたはヤギだ」 ではなく、 Greatest Of All Time（史上最高の）ということ。人や製品などに使われる褒め言葉。発音は goat（ヤギ）と同じ。
