☆Grammar and Vocabulary
① We have to go to the hospital.
have to の客観的必要性
have to は「～しなければならない」で、must と訳は共通ですがイメージは異なる
must が主観的な単なる「しなければならないよ」であるのに対し、have to には「必要性」が感じられる。しなければならない客観的で強い理由がある。
ここでもジーニーは（この後に）「彼は私たちの父親なんだから」とその理由を述べている
② We should bring him some flowers.
授与型（SVOO）
動詞の後ろに2つ目的語を取り「～に…をあげる・くれる」を意味する型。この文では bring を使い「彼に・花を・持っていってあげる」となっている
目的語の位置を入れ替えてはダメ！英語は「配置の言葉」。目的語の位置を入れ替えると意味が通らなくなる！
ところで、この文で bring（持ってくる）が使われているのは、英語では話題の中心となっている場所を基準に「行く・来る」が使い分けられる強い傾向があるため。ここでは病院が話題の中心であり、そこに近づく動きであるため bring が使われているのです。

→ regret（残念に思う）を用いた、I/We regret to は「残念ながら・申し訳 ないが・遺憾ですが」で、フォーマルな感触のフレーズ

→ unfortunately（運悪く・遺憾ながら・申し訳ないことですが）
